This is a funeral where family and friends may choose to have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person, but they do not attend the burial or cremation itself.

Unattended Funeral section (includes funeral director’s charges plus the cremation fee plus doctors’ fees (2)):

Roselawn Cremation – £1922 (for a Belfast borough resident) and £2302 (for a non-resident)

Newtownabbey Cremation – £1839 (for an Antrim and Newtownabbey borough resident) and £2014 (for a non-resident)

For an Attended or Unattended burial funeral, the burial fee.’ will vary depending on resident or non-resident – Resident £265  Non-resident – £1,145

To purchase a new grave an additional fee will apply. Resident – £351 Non-resident – £2,625

For an Attended cremation funeral, the cremation fee.

Roselawn Crematorium – Belfast Borough Resident – £453  Non-resident – £876

Direct cremation resident £408 – Direct cremation non-resident– £788

Newtonabbey Crematorium – Antrim and Newtownabbey borough resident – £650

Non-resident – £1000

Direct cremation resident £325 – Direct cremation non-resident– £500

This funeral director may be able to supply a range of optional, additional products and services, or to arrange (on your behalf) for a third party to supply them. Examples include:

Additional mileage (price per mile) – £1.50

Additional transfers of the deceased person’s body (e.g. to their home, to a place of worship etc.) (price per transfer) – £350

Collection and delivery of ashes – £20

Embalming – £162

Funeral officiant (e.g. celebrant, minister of religion etc.) Prices on request

Services supplied outside of normal office hours. Prices on request

Grave Marker – £30

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
